David’s Latest Finds in August
29 August 2016
The summer may almost be over but there is plenty to look forward to at Inn Places this autumn! We are delighted to have added four more fantastic pubs with rooms, each one perfect for an autumn break away: a 17th-century gem in a Thames-side village; a community owned inn deep in the Shropshire hills; a rustic-chic French-inspired inn; and a brilliant bolthole in the Cotswolds.
The Plough Inn, Kelmscott, Oxfordshire
A picture-perfect 17th-century inn secluded away in an idyllic village, just a stroll from the River Thames and Kelmscott Manor, former home of Arts & Crafts designer William Morris. Refurbished in cool, rustic style in 2015, it’s worth seeking out for the inventive modern British food, the stylishly simple rooms, the quirky décor, and the peaceful cottage garden.

The Pheasant Inn, Neenton, Shropshire
Rescued from closure and restored by the local community in 2014, the once derelict roadside inn is now thriving as a cracking rural inn, with a country rustic feel, hearty seasonal food and three simple and very comfortable rooms. It’s the perfect base for exploring the glorious South Shropshire countryside and foodie Ludlow.

Transformed into a destination inn by Sebastian & Lana Snow in 2012, the Five Alls thrives as a locals’ bar, foodie pub and a brilliant Cotswold bolthole.
