Lord Crewe Arms, Blanchland, Northumberland

Restored historic inn set in a timeless moorland village and worth seeking out for fantastic seasonal food and gorgeous country-smart rooms. The impressive Gatehouse across the lane is a stunning meeting space (max 30 people) replete with flagstone floors and open fireplaces – outdoor fun on the moors can be arranged.

The Bell Inn, Bramshaw, Hampshire

Hidden away in a lush valley a world away from the hubbub of Halifax over the hill, this unspoilt 17th-century inn makes the perfect country meeting venue. Expect boutique bedrooms, a contemporary menu, gorgeous gardens and a chilled out vibe at this stunning Cotswold inn.
